Verifix is a Shopify app developed by Jupiter Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app. By installing Verifix, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
When you install Verifix on your Shopify store, we collect the following information:
- Store information: Your Shopify store domain and OAuth access token to communicate with the Shopify API.
- Product data: Product titles, descriptions, and image URLs from your store — used solely to perform IP risk scanning.
- Scan results: The output of our AI-powered scanning process, including risk classifications and violation details.
- App settings: Your configuration preferences such as auto-block settings and restricted keywords.
We do not collect personal information about your customers, their orders, payment details, or any data unrelated to product compliance scanning.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect exclusively to provide and improve the Verifix service:
- To scan your products for potential IP violations using AI image and text analysis.
- To automatically draft or flag products based on your configured settings.
- To display scan results, reports, and statistics in your Verifix dashboard.
- To register and process Shopify webhooks for real-time product sync.
- To manage your subscription and billing through Shopify's billing API.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
Verifix uses the following third-party services to deliver its functionality:
- Google Cloud Vision API: Used to analyze product images for logo and trademark detection. Images are transmitted to Google's servers for processing. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy

Your store data is stored on secure servers hosted on DigitalOcean infrastructure in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
- Encrypted storage for OAuth access tokens.
- HMAC signature verification for all incoming Shopify webhooks.
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only.
